Episode 1. Greeting, getting to know each other, saying goodbye
When we meet someone, usually the first thing we do is greet them. How does such a greeting go? Should you stay formal and businesslike or can you use the informal “je” or “jij” without insulting the other person? This episode will give you the answer. You also learn if using “je” and “jij” is impolite or if it’s just a well-intentioned custom.

Episode 2. Making an Appointment
In this episode you will learn how to make an appointment and everything you need to know in order to avoid any ambiguity. A lot of people find making an appointment difficult. This is because there are so many factors: arriving on time, calling in when you are sick or asking what the appointment is about. It’s not obvious to everyone, which can lead to conflict.

Episode 3. Visiting
In this episode of “Doe Maar Gewoon”, Regillio and Maria visit Saskia. They go to see Saskia’s new house. You will see what Dutch people mean when they invite you over in the evening for a cup of coffee.

Episode 4. Living
In this episode we take a look by the neighbors.

Episode 5. School
In this episode you learn amongst other things, how to greet and thank someone. You learn the best way to ask questions. Youssra and Ibrahim call their school teacher.

Episode 6. Rules
If you want to stand up for yourself, then you can’t always stay nice. Especially if you are angry or irritated, it’s difficult to ask for help. Mrs de Vries and Thomas find themselves in a situation where Mrs de Vries has to stand up for herself. In addition, Mrs de Vries needs Thomas’ help.

Episode 7. Raising Children
Youssra’s children are playing pranks on Mrs de Vries. Mrs de Vries of course complains to her neighbour Youssra. In this episode you see how she does it and how she could improve. You learn how to express your opinion and ask others to explain theirs.

Episode 8. Free Time
In this episode: how can you show that you are motivated? How do you ask the best questions? And how do you express your own opinion? There’s a party in the Doe Maar Gewoon gallery. Mr and Mrs de Vries think it would go better if everyone would help. But Regillio and Maria think differently.
