The Afsluitdijk (Closure Dike) is a major dike in the Netherlands, constructed between 1927 and 1933 and running from North Holland province to Friesland province, over a length of 32 km (20 miles). It is a fundamental part of the larger Zuiderzee Works, damming off the Zuiderzee, a salt water inlet of the North Sea and turning it into the fresh water lake of the IJsselmeer.

I would like to know if the footage "Closure Dike"of the Zuiderzee Works (http://www.2bdutch.nl/index.ph...ink&id=173) is coming from the movie "Zuiderzee", fimed by Joris Ivens between 1929 and 1933. If not, do you know where this footage is coming from and where we could maybe buy it?
I am working for Les Productions Vic Pelletier, a private producer in Quebec, Canada and we are currently producing a Tv series about water intended for French Canadian channels. We are interested to use some of the footage that can be seen in the short film "Closure Dike" to make a parallel with the GRAND Canal project here in Canada. That is why I am trying to find out where I can find and buy this footage.
Thank you advance for taking a look at my request.
Sincerely,
Marie-Claude Tremblay
